Means in the above comment because there was a nightingale corner mentioned in an old copy of a family history magazine and as my family name is nightingale I would love to know the possible history of this hidden gem.as I love the quirkiness of family history

  • The platform on the righthand side was for the branch line to Ramsey.Went down it a few times ,all the crossing gates you had to open (the guard closed them behind you) the old bridge that never felt really safe at (nightingale ?).
    The engine was always 64211 (a J6). Loading weight I guess.Good days .Good memories.
